What is Ghostpad?

Ghostpad is the world's first anti-spyware widget. Compare it to a captcha code. A captcha code filters spam. Ghostpad filters spyware. Its purpose is to help protect your customers from identity theft while entering data on your website. It is a good idea for your customers to use Ghostpad when they do not trust the computer they are on.

What is a Security Seal?

If you implement Ghostpad, you are eligible to purchase a custom security seal from us. Ghostpad is technically free. We only charge to create the verification page and the security seal. At the top of your implementation of Ghostpad will be a link that says 'Verify'. When any customer clicks on the verify link, they will see your security seal. You can also link directly to the security seal from your website if you want to show it off ;). This is your opportunity to upgrade your website's security quickly, easily, and effectively.

How do I use Ghostpad?

You can see a demo video here. Basically, a customer simply needs to click on the Ghostpad icon whenever they see it beside a textbox on your website. Simply hovering over the letters of Ghostpad will enter customer data into the desired input box.

What does Ghostpad protect against specifically?

Ghostpad helps protect your customers from keyloggers and screen capturing devices (aka spyware) which could possibly steal data while a person types into a text box on a website. It is very powerful by itself. Ghostpad can essentially protect better than McAfee, Norton, etc but we suggest your customers use it in collaboration with a reputable anti-spyware software package of their choice.

What happens after I install Ghostpad?

After you install Ghostpad, you should obtain a custom security seal from us. You can reserve a security seal without implementing Ghostpad first. You must implement Ghostpad before we fullfill the order though.
