New Link - Help Page
The New Link Page gives you the opportunity to enter one link quickly or generate "dummy" links that can be edited and added all at once.
You must have a platinum membership to enter more than 10 links.
Inserting One Link:
Your Current Folder is displayed to inform you of where this link's destination will be.
Link: Link is the only required field. You can get away with just entering "www._____.com" but "http://www._____.com/" will also work (if you are dragging in a link it will most likely drag in as "http://www._____.com/" ) ... Also ".com" is just used here for example , any correct ending will work. NOTE - if you are a platinum member , your links are encrypted ... see our FAQ or our Privacy Policy.
Alias: Enter a short Alias Name to identify the link instead of the URL (this is what you see on the list on the main page). NOTE - if you are a platinum member , your aliases are encrypted ... see our FAQ or our Privacy Policy.
User Name: If this webpage requires a Username credential , enter it here. Remember , your Username is encrypted by your Main Password to keep it totally secret and only known to you !
Password: If this webpage requires a Password credential , enter it here. Remember , your Password is encrypted by your Main Password to keep it totally secret and only known to you !
Inserting Several Links At Once:
Your Current Folder is displayed to inform you of where this link's destination will be.
Choose a number of "dummy" links to set up. Spy Shakers will then create the dummy links and name them with aliases in numerical order (that means if you create 10 new links, your links will be named "Edit_Me_1" , "Edit_Me_2" , "Edit_Me_3" ... and so on). You can then choose these dummy links on the main page , check them , and Edit them all at once.
